PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet processing device capable of accurately aligning carried-in paper sheets in the width direction and laminate the paper sheets without concern of damaging the paper sheets. SOLUTION: The paper sheet processing device 1 is provided with a placement table 30 on which a laminated body Q is placed; a pair of guide members 40 each of which has a first guide part 41 arranged above the laminated body Q placed on the placement table 30 and guiding an edge P1 of a paper sheet P and a second guide part 42 extended downwardly from the first guide part 41 and arranged on the lateral side of an edge part Q1 of the laminated body Q; an abutment part 14 arranged above the laminated body Q so as to advance between the first guide parts 41 of the pair of guide members 40; a vertical moving means 50 for relatively vertically advancing/retracting the pair of guide members 40 with respect to the abutment part 14 from a first position M to a second position N; and width direction moving means 60 for advancing/retracting the second guide parts 42 in the width direction Y from a separate state separated from the edge parts Q1 of the laminated body Q and a close state close to the edge part Q1.
