PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front body structure of an automobile having a pair of right and left front side frames extending in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body in front of a dash panel for partitioning an engine room and a cabin in a front portion of the vehicle body, with its rear part side being curved downwardly and extending downward of the dash panel, and provided with a fold scheduled part for folding the frames in the vehicle width direction when the shock load from the front side of the vehicle body is applied being provided on the front side frames, which is capable of folding the front side frames in the vehicle width direction and suppressing the displacement in the vertical direction of the front side frames at a curved part. SOLUTION: A fold-scheduled part T4 is provided on curved parts 5a of front side frames 5. A front end part thereof is connected to the front side frames 5 in front of the fold-scheduled part T4, and extends backwardly and upwardly while with a rear end thereof being connected to a dash panel 2.
