The cylinder has a hollow cylindrical housing (1) including an internal space in which a component (4) e.g. piston, having partial lengths (A, B, C) is axially and movably guided. The partial lengths (A, B) are maintained inside the housing. A sealing element (5) lies on an inner wall of the housing, and is inserted in lateral area of the partial length (A). The partial length (B) is sealingly covered by bellows (3) made of an elastic material. The bellows has an end including a sealing element (3.1) i.e. molded seal. The bellows is connected with the housing via the sealing element (3.1).
