The cell assembly (1) comprises multiple parallel or serial solitary cells (1.1) interconnected together. The solitary cells are connected with a heat conducting plate. A blank mold (1.6) is provided during positioning a filler material. The blank mold partially or completely surrounds the outer contour of the solitary cells and the heat conducting plate, and is a polyethylene shrink film or a polypropylene shrink film. The filling material (1.5) is polyurethane-foam, an epoxy resin or silicon foam. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a battery; and (2) a method for manufacturing cell assembly.
