METHOD FOR ISOLATION OF MELANOCYTE PROGENITOR CELLS FROM SKIN CELLS

A method for isolating a melanocyte progenitor cell from a skin cell is provided to regenerate and treat melanocyte. A method for isolating a melanocyte progenitor cell from adult skin cell comprises: a step of culturing the skin cell; a step of culturing a nutrition cell containing a mesenchymal stem cell or adipose stem cell; and a step of co-culturing the skin cell and nutrition cell. The skin cell is epidermal cell such as a keratinocyte. The culture of skin cell is performed in medium containing bovine pituitary extract(BPC), bovine insulin, hydrocortisol, human epidermal growth factor, and bovine transferring.
