THE OXIDATION METHOD OF NITROGEN OXIDES IN THE FLUE GAS

Provided is an oxidation method of NOx included in the flue gas, which is inexpensive and excellent in the oxidation efficiency, and can improve the removal efficiency of NOx in the flue gas simply and easily. An oxidation method of NOx included in the flue gas comprises the step of contacting the flue gas with a solid-phase oxidizer to oxidize NO in NOx included in the flue gas. The oxidizer is NaClO2. The contacting process is performed by passing the flue gas through a reactor filled with the solid-phase oxidizer. The contacting process is performed by spraying a powder type oxidizer to a pipe through which the flue gas flows, thereby injecting the oxidizer into the pipe. The contacting process is carried out at a temperature of 80 to 180 deg.C.
