<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap member which protects a fuel supply section and makes a user recognize leakage of a fuel in advance and is excellent on safety for previously preventing its use and reliability, and a fuel cartridge with the same cap member. <P>SOLUTION: In the cap member 20 in which it covers the fuel supply section 14 arranged on the fuel cartridge 10 with the fuel supply section 14, the cap member 20 includes a recessed section 22 for housing the fuel supply section 14, and an indicator section 26 arranged on the recessed section 22 brought into contact with the fuel supply section 14 when the fuel supply section 14 of the fuel cartridge 10 is housed in the recessed section 22.
