<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an electrolyte which has excellent proton conductivity, heat resistance, durability, depositing properties, and hot water solubility; its manufacturing method; and a battery using the electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: The electrolyte includes a structure in which a hydrophilic segment A as shown in a formula: -E<SB>2</SB>-[Rf<SB>1</SB>-E]<SB>m</SB>- and a hydrophobic segment B a shown in a formula: -[Rf<SB>2</SB>-Ar]<SB>n</SB>-Rf<SB>3</SB>- are combined with each other through a chemical combination, and the method of manufacturing the electrolyte and the battery using the electrolyte are also provided, wherein Rf<SB>1</SB>, Rf<SB>2</SB>, Rf<SB>3</SB>are of straight chain shape or par fluoro chain shape having a carbon number one or more respectively, and E<SB>1</SB>, E<SB>2</SB>are proton conductive portions respectively as shown in a general formula: -(CONM)<SB>i1</SB>(CO)<SB>i2</SB>(SO<SB>2</SB>NM)<SB>i3</SB>(SO<SB>2</SB>)<SB>i4</SB>(wherein, 0≤i<SB>1</SB>, 0≤i<SB>2</SB>≤1, 0≤i<SB>3</SB>, 0≤i<SB>4</SB>≤1, 0<i<SB>1</SB>+i<SB>3</SB>, and i<SB>1</SB>to i<SB>4</SB>are each integers, and M is a proton or metal element), and Ar is an allylene group, and 0≤m (m is integer), 1≤n (n is integer). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
