<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for attaining excellent exposure by suppressing light reflection caused by a connecting member. <P>SOLUTION: This line head is provided with the connecting member having one end mounted to a head substrate, and the other end pulled out to the outside of the head substrate, and supplying light emitting elements with signals corresponding to signals input to the other end, through the one end. One face of the head substrate is provided with a plurality of light emitting element group lines each with a plurality of light emitting element groups arranged in a first direction, and the plurality of light emitting element group lines are arranged in a second direction orthogonal or almost orthogonal to the first direction. A shading member is provided with light guide holes formed toward lenses from the light emitting element groups.
