PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL planar light emitting apparatus in which both of enlargement of a display panel and uniformity of luminance can be achieved. SOLUTION: The organic EL planar light emitting apparatus A1 includes an organic layer 3 and a sealed space 71 lapping on the organic layer 3 in an expanding direction of the organic layer 3, and a cooling medium 6 which evaporates or dissolves when the organic layer 3 is put into a conductive status from a non-conductive state is sealed in the sealed space 71.
