PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold-keeping utensil which can cool the inside of the mouth in such a manner that the cooled cold-keeping utensil is placed in the mouth of an infant, and the infant is made to lick the cold-keeping utensil. SOLUTION: A hollow housing section 3 is provided in an expanded section 2 of a main body of this cold-keeping utensil 1 which forms the expanded section 2, to enclose a cold regenerating agent 5 in the housing section 3. In addition, a handle section 4 is provided for the cold-keeping utensil 1. By holding the handle section 4 of the cold-keeping utensil 1 which has been cooled in a refrigerator or a freezer, the cooled expanded section 2 is placed in the mouth of the infant, and the infant is made to lick the expanded section 2 to cool the inside of the mouth by the cold-keeping utensil 1.
