PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food frying system which can remove fried starch scum caught in a filtering device and conduces to increased productivity. SOLUTION: The food frying system includes an oil tank 11, an oil circulation route 14 connected from an oil discharge section to an oil supply section, a pump 18 provided in the circulation route 14, a heat exchanger 3 provided in the circulation route 14, a filtering device 21 switchably connected to the circulation route 14, a decompressor 31 capable of decompressing the oil tank 11, and a storage tank 11 switchably connected to the circulation route 14. The filtering device 21 includes a filtering vessel 22 and a filter section 23 and a return pipe 24, and a cleaning pipe 8 to deliver oil into the filtering vessel 21 and to clean the filter section 23 is switchably connected to the return pipe 24.
