A three dimensional video communication terminal, system and method is disclosed. The three dimensional video communication terminal includes a transmitting device and a receiving device, in which the transmitting device includes a camera and image processing unit, an encoding unit and a transmitting unit; the receiving device includes a receiving unit, a decoding unit, a restructuring unit and a rendering unit. The three dimensional video communication system includes: a three dimensional video communication terminal, a two dimensional video communication terminal and a packet network. The three dimensional video communication method is processed in a two-way and three dimensional video communication, and it includes: shooting and acquiring video data; acquiring the depth and/or parallax information of shot object from the video data; encoding the video data and the depth and/or parallax information; packing the encoded data into the data packets according with the Real-time Transfer protocol; and transmitting the data packets via the packet network. The two-way communication of the real-time remote video stream is realized. |
