A method for sensing the non-SIP application of an IMS user includes that: an access routing apparatus records the non-SIP application information of the IMS user that is performing the non-SIP application currently, the access routing apparatus provides the recorded non-SIP application information of the IMS user to a non-SIP application sensing unit before the non-SIP application sending unit processes the call request signaling route for the recorded IMS user. The embodiment of the present invention also provides a system for sensing the non-SIP application of the IMS user including the access routing apparatus and the non-SIP applicationsensing unit, an access routing apparatus including a data process module and a non-SIP application information provision module, and a non-SIP application sensing unit including a non-SIP application sensing module and a call request signaling routing process module. Applying the embodiment of the present invention, it can be sensed in time whether the IMS user performs the non-SIP application currently, and the signaling routing redundancy possibly occurred in the sequent process is avoided.
