RADIO TERMINAL, RADIO TERMINAL NONVOLATILE MEMORY, AND DIAGNOSIS INFORMATION FAIL-SAFE STORAGE METHOD

It is possible to provide a method and a system for fail-safe storing diagnosis information identifying a problem occurring during installation of information for updating software of a radio terminal acquired by OTA (over the air). The software of the radio terminal includes a logging program which is stored in an area of the radio terminal (140) not updated during the software update by OTA and which can be executed for generating and storing diagnosis information in the area of the radio terminal (140) not updated during the software update by OTA. By arranging the logging program and the diagnosis information in the area of the radio terminal (140) which is not destroyed during installation of the updated software by OTA, the diagnosis information can be generated by the radio terminal (140) and transferred to an external diagnosis system (130) for analysis even if a significant error has occurred.
