<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white color LED with a desired color temperature by causing a lens used in an illuminator of LED to have a function of controlling the color temperature. <P>SOLUTION: An illuminator 2 includes a housing 4 and a plate-shaped member 6. On the top face of the plate-shaped member 6, a Fresnel lens part 8 is formed and the plate-shaped member 6 is formed by being colored in orange color. In addition, on the bottom part of the housing 4, an LED 10 is arranged and directly above the LED 10, a phosphor 12 is provided. By supplying the LED 10 with a current, the LED 10 emits light which permeates the plate-shaped member 6.
