<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination display of which whole display surface is illuminated with uniform brightness. <P>SOLUTION: The illumination display comprises, in a cap body having a transmissive display surface, a light source for illuminating the display surface; a reflection body for reflecting the illumination light from the light source in a direction to the display surface; a name plate written with a display character or a pattern bonded onto the rear surface of the display surface; and a diffusion plate for diffusing the illumination light to the display surface. The diffusion plate is formed such that the surface of the diffusion plate opposite to the light source is formed with an inclination plane so as to form its thickness thicker at the center position and becomes gradually thinner at the periphery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
