PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an attenuation force variable damper attaining enhancement of riding comfort in regular circle turning traveling. SOLUTION: When a roll attenuation force base value Drb and a stroke speed Ss become a reverse code and determination of step S12 becomes No, a roll operation control part 56 determines whether or not the roll attenuation force base value Drb is set to a contraction side at step S14. Further, if the determination of step S14 is Yes, the roll operation control part 56 calculates an attenuation force correction value Dc by multiplying contraction side coefficient K1 on the stroke speed Ss at step S15, and if the determination of step S14 is No, the roll operation control part 56 calculates the attenuation force correction value Dc by multiplying stretching side coefficient K2 on the stroke speed Ss at step S16. When the attenuation force correction value Dc is calculated, the roll operation control part 56 determines a roll attenuation force target value Dr by reducing the attenuation force correction value Dc from the roll attenuation force base value Drb at step S17.
