PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CCD solid-state imaging element which images a successful object image of neither excessive black nor insufficient black. SOLUTION: In the CCD solid-state imaging element which has: a plurality of pixels which accumulate electric charges according to a light receiving amount, which is arranged and formed like a two-dimensional array on a semiconductor substrate; and an electric charge transfer path which is formed along a pixel sequence constituted of the pixels, and transfers the electric charges read from the pixels, the pixels and an area in which the electric charge transfer path is provided are divided into an effective pixel area 103a, and an optical black part 103b which is adjacent to the effective pixel and covered with a light shielding film, transfer electrode area of the electric charge transfer path 102b of the optical black part 103b is differentiated to transfer electrode area of the electric charge transfer path 102a of the effective pixel area 103a.
