PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add user's intention to automatic transfer of contents from a contents-recording/reproducing device to a portable unit. SOLUTION: A first recording media 116 records prescribed contents. A second recording media mounting portion 112 mounts a demountable and portable second recording media 300. A registration portion 103 registers identification information of the second recording media 300 on which contents are written from the first recording media 116. When a second recording media 300 having identification information registered in the registration portion 103 is mounted on the second recording media mounting portion 112, a control portion 104 controls so as to write the recorded contents from the first recording media 116 to the second recording media 300.
