PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a presence sharing system for easily distributing presence corresponding to a reception partner. SOLUTION: A distribution hierarchy level database 110 stores a distribution hierarchy level showing that to which hierarchy level of presence information hierarchized into a plurality of hierarchical levels distribution is permitted. The distribution hierarchy level database 110 stores, for each user group to which a receiver belongs, the distribution hierarchy level with respect to the user group. A matching means 107 acquires the distribution hierarchy level from the distribution hierarchy level database 110, and creates presence distributed to each receiver according to the acquired distribution hierarchy level. Thus, it is possible to distribute the presence corresponding to the reception partner by setting the distribution hierarchy level according to the receiver who receives the presence.
