PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device allowing stable photographing in the optimum exposure condition, without greatly changing the exposure condition, even in a slight composition change and zooming performed carelessly or unconsciously by a photographing person. SOLUTION: The photographing device includes a photometric sensor 22 for measuring a subject light, detecting parts 10-14 for detecting a variation of a photographing state, a computing part 6 for computing the second value, based on an output from the photometric sensor 22, after computing the first value based on the output from the photometric sensor 22, and an exposure control part 24 for controlling exposure, using the first value, when the variation is detected to be within a prescribed range, by the detecting parts 10-14, and when a difference between the first value and the second value exceeds a prescribed range.
