PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner of long life excellent in quality, without generating a deposit and a flaw on a photoreceptor, in the toner used in a high-speed type image forming device. SOLUTION: The toner for developing an electrostatic charge image includes: toner base particles containing a styrene polymer having the maximum value in a range of 2,500-4,000 of molecular weight and/or a binding resin having the styrene polymer, a coloring agent, a charge control agent and a release agent having 80-120°C of melting point; and an external additive containing inorganic fine particles A having 0.5-2.5μm of average particle size D50 in 50% of cumulative percentage counted from a highest particle size side by a Microtrac method, having 7μm or less of particle size D3 in 3% of cumulative percentage counted from the highest particle size side, having 0.3μm or more of particle size D94 in 94% of cumulative percentage counted from the highest particle size side, and having 9-14 of Mohs hardness, and inorganic fine particles B treated to bring a hydrophobic property having 40-60% of hydrophobicity.
