PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw unit smoothly circulating balls, restraining vibrations and noises, preventing generation of wear on a ball circulating passage, and enhancing its durability. SOLUTION: An inclining section 28 is set up between a load-relieving point P which starts to change its diameter for enlargement in a nut screw groove 4 of a ball nut 2 and the vicinity of an end face of the nut screw groove 4 on a connection section 27 between the ball nut 2 and a circulation piece 22, a flat section 29 is set up between a terminal point of the inclining section 28 and an end of the ball nut 2, and an end of the flat section 29 and a scooping section 24 of the circulation piece 22 are linearly connected by coinciding with each other. A ball 6 runs out in the tangent direction T of a ball load rolling passage 5 from the load-relieving point P during an operation of a ball screw unit, the ball 6 passing through the inclining section 28 moves to the flat section 29, but the ball 6 collides with the flat section 29 since the flat section 29 is inclined in the axis-center direction against the tangent direction T.
