PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water pump capable of avoiding the deterioration of the response of variable flow control by suppressing the deposition of foreign matter in the gap between a driven side rotating body and a partition wall. SOLUTION: This water pump includes: a drive side rotating body 20 to which a drive force from an engine is transmitted for rotation; the driven side rotating body 30 which has a pump impeller 31 and which is rotatably supported on a rotating shaft 33; and the partition wall 40 for partitioning a space between the space in which the drive side rotating body 20 is disposed and the space in which the driven side rotating body 30 is disposed. The magnitude of the torque transmitted from the drive side rotating body 20 to the driven side rotating body 30 is changed by changing the relative opposed position of a magnet 25 installed on the drive side rotating body 20 to an induction ring 32 installed on the driven side rotating body 30, and the flow of the water pump is changed.
