METHOD FOR SELECTING DONOR SITE IN BREAST RECONSTRUCTION WITH AID OF INFERIOR TRANSVERSE ABDOMINAL FLAP WITH RECTUS MUSCLES

A method for selecting the donor site in breast reconstruction with the aid of the inferior transverse abdominal flap with rectus muscles provides for Doppler sonography of the epigastral vessels at the donor site for assessing angioarchitectonics and the diameter of blood vessels. Based on the examination findings, TRAM reconstruction with one or two vascular pedicles is considered.
