A transfer star-wheel (1), in particular for transferring flexible containers comprises at least a revolving platform (2), stations (3) for positioning containers located thereon, each of which is provided with means for gripping containers, and a shaft (5) for supporting the platform (2). Novelty of the invention consists in the presence in this conveyer (1) of means for cooling previously hermetically sealed portions of the containers. The disclosed method of cooling the flexible containers provides for their forced cooling simultaneously with a step of transferring the containers.
