METHOD FOR CORRECTING METABOLISM AND ACTIVITY OF ANTIOXIDANT PROTECTION ENZYMES IN GEESE UNDER CONDITIONS OF CADMIUM LOAD

A method for correcting the metabolism and activity of antioxidant protection enzymes in geese under conditions of cadmium load includes stimulating the antioxidant protection system by introducing a selenium-containing antioxidant. Selenium ascorbate which is added to a combined feed in a rate of 1-2 mg per 1 kg and is fed to the geese daily in the course of all the period of cadmium load is orally used as the antioxidant.
