The invention relates to a method for transmitting additional data along with navigation messages in a satellite navigation system, a navigation message being a continuous data flow that has a predefined bit rate. Said method comprises the following steps: - a navigation message is structured into several pages for transmitting data according to a predefined page definition (S10), each page having a test sum which is calculated in accordance with the data contained on the page formed according to the predefined page definition; - new pages of the navigation message are formed according to a page definition that differs from the predefined page definition (S12) such that the test sum calculated in accordance with the data contained on the page formed according to the predefined page definition is wrong; and - additional data is transmitted using the newly formed pages (S14). |
