<p>Communications between a base station (110) and a mobile station (130) is improved through using a relay station (120). A transmit timing of relayed signals from the relay station (120) is controlled so that the signals from the base station (110) and the relay station (120) arrive to the mobile station (130) aligned with each other within a predetermined tolerance.</p>
