The vehicle (1) has a drive unit (2) turned during a parking phase of the vehicle and attached to an energy storage (9). The drive unit supplies the vehicle with a mechanical drive energy during an operating phase. A cooling machine (13) is supplied with an energy by using the energy storage for producing an energy level lying within an energy level of a surrounding of the vehicle. The cooling machine is operated during the parking phase of the vehicle independent of the drive unit. The cooling machine is supplied with the mechanical energy by the drive unit.
