The motor vehicle has a rear deck (1) including a license plate (2) with an integrated rear light. The license plate is attached to a planar section of the rear deck or fixed in a recess (3) of the rear deck, so that the license plate is in flush with surface of circumfluent areas of the rear deck. The recess continuously passes into a side of the license plate in the circumfluent areas of the rear deck. A slat (4) is fixed above the license plate, and rearwardly provided at a distance from the rear deck.
