The material has a flat filter web (1) with a corrugated filter web (2) for formation of flow channels (3) running transverse to a web longitudinal direction. The filter webs are made of expanded metal as base material, in whose openings metallic particles applied together with a binder are provided. A sinter structure is obtained by sintering in a condition, in which the sinter structure exists in a two-part composite structure, where pre-sintering of the material containing metal particles added and non-deformed to the composite structure is implemented. An independent claim is also included for a winding filter made of filter material.
