<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-luminous delineator which is set up by installing a directional light emitting section and a directional solar battery section inside a transparent pipe, wherein the delineator facilitates installation work thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The luminous delineator 1 is erected along a road and carries out visual guidance of vehicle drivers. The delineator is formed of: the transparent pipe 2 having upper and lower open edges; an upper cap 3 covering an upper opening of the transparent pipe 2; a lower cap 4 covering a lower opening of the transparent pipe 2, and fixed to an installation location; the directional light emitting section 5 installed in the transparent pipe 2, and the directional solar battery section 6 installed in the transparent pipe 2, for feeding a power source to the light emitting section 5. Herein even after fixing of the lower cap 4 to the installation location, the direction of the light emitting section 5 is changeable without detaching the upper cap 3 and the lower cap 4 from the transparent pipe 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
