<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitter for a road, which is excellent in visibility for drivers, and high in attention attracting function (accident preventing function). <P>SOLUTION: The light emitter 1 is formed of a first light emitting surface 2 for emitting light in a direction opposed to the driver D, and a second light emitting surface 3 for emitting light in a direction that crosses the road R. Light is emitted from both the light emitting surfaces 2, 3 by means of LED lamps 16 separately from each other. The surface of the light emitter other than the light emitting surfaces 2, 3 is covered with a case 10, and therefore light diffusion from the light emitter is minimized. For example, by successively lighting the light emitters 1 at a transfer speed that is the same as a safety speed, along a traveling direction of a vehicle A, the driver D is informed of a separation from the safety speed. Further each light emitter has the first light emitting surface 2 and the second light emitting surface 3, and therefore the driver D can easily visually recognize lit-up states of both the far-off light emitter 1 and the nearby light emitter 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
