PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component for fixing an optical element excellent in strength, durability, corrosion resistance, dimensional accuracy, shape stability and productivity, and to provide an imaging unit using the component for fixing an optical element. SOLUTION: The optical element fixing component disposed at a tip of an imaging unit, includes a molded part composed of an amorphous alloy fabricated by injecting a molten metallic material into a mold and cooling the metallic material at a rate of 10°C/second or more and having a glass transition region of 20°C or more and a linear expansion coefficient of 15x10-6/°C or less, the molded part having a hollow portion. The imaging unit includes an optical element fixed to at least one of the hollow portions of the component by using a solder having a melting point below the glass transition temperature of the amorphous alloy.
