PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor capable of precisely and reliably mounting a capacitor element to a lead frame without applying any additional members. SOLUTION: The solid electrolytic capacitor 1 includes capacitor elements 2a, 2b, a positive electrode lead frame 10, a negative electrode lead frame 20, and a mold resin 40. The positive electrode lead frame 10 has a positive electrode terminal section 11 and a rising section 12, and the rising section 12 is formed integrally with the positive electrode terminal section 11 and is extended toward the positive electrode section 4 in the mold resin 40 from the positive electrode terminal section 11 and is connected to the positive electrode section 4. A reception recess 14 and holding sections 14a, 14a are formed at the rising section 12, and further a first slit 15 is formed from the reception recess 14 to a lower part.
