PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an attachment structure of a Hall IC for seeking the maximum efficiency point without modifying wiring in a circuit board even if there is a difference between the Hall IC (a magnetoelectric transducer) optimal position defined by design and the actual optimal position of the Hall IC. SOLUTION: A DC motor for a pump includes: the magnetoelectric transducer 2 for reading a magnetic force on a magnet rotor 1; the circuit board 4 having a circular hole 41 bored in a predetermined position; and an element socket 3 housing the magnetoelectric transducer 2. A locking section 33 is formed at an end of a leg 32 of the element socket 3, and engaged with a rim of the circular hole 41.
