PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording/reproducing apparatus and program which prevent recording of the second and following broadcasts after the first of a serial TV program from being missed. SOLUTION: A recording reservation part 13 performs recording reservation of a serial TV program broadcasted with a constant interval, based on the program information acquired by a communication part 1 that acquires program information. Based on the recording reservation, a control part 10 records the other serial TV program to be broadcasted within a first period after end of the first serial TV program recorded in a storage part 7. The control part 10 determines whether the first serial TV program is reproduced within the first period, and if it is not reproduced, the recording reservation of the serial TV program after the other serial TV program is canceled. Before cancellation of the recording reservation of the serial TV program after the other serial TV program, information whether the recording of the serial TV program following the other serial TV program is carried out is output.
