PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "receiver" for proper reception processing in receiving a plurality of signals. SOLUTION: An FM broadcast receiver 100-1 includes a plurality of antennas 10, 11 each receiving a plurality of same signals; an adaptive processing section 24 for detecting the electric field strength of the same signals received by each of the antennas 10, 11, and performing adaptive processing for the same signals received by each of the antennas 10, 11 on the basis of the degree of amplification depending on the electric field strength; and a signal control signal level generating section 28 and a signal processing section 32 for correcting the electric field strength of signals after adaptive processing into a predetermined electric field strength corresponding to signals of a desired station.
