PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a means to deliver temperature information detected by a temperature sensor of a toilet seat in a heated toilet seat device which has a structure wherein the toilet seat is removable from a toilet seat supporting member. SOLUTION: When the toilet seat 1 is mounted on the toilet seat supporting member 2, power is supplied to a heater 10 and a conversion circuit 12 from a control circuit 20 via power supply means 30 and conditioning circuit 15. The temperature information sensed by the temperature sensor 11 is transmitted from a temperature signal transmitter 13 through sensing window 2a as an infrared signal and received by a light receiver 23 of a body sensor 21 provided on the side of the toilet seat supporting member 2. The control circuit 20 controls output power of the power supply means 30 from the temperature information and conditions heat value of the heater 10. By using existing body sensor 21, the design can be simplified and the number of parts can be reduced, and also, cost can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
