PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide document processing for search which designates position relations between and among respective cells in a table and format information at high speed. SOLUTION: By using a result of encoding a table in a document and a format into a character string, a search index is built in advance. Thus, a high-speed character string search method used in an enterprise search field is utilized for search that designates position relations between and among the respective cells in the table.
