Nanotechnological nail seals for artificial nails and nail pads, in which (1) the coated, designed and decorated nails are covered with a transparent outer layer of nano-coating (nano-glass sol, carbon nanotubes or plastic light management film (LMF)) and (2) photoluminescent pigments are incorporated into the nano-sol or LMF to act as a nail and pad covering.
