The handle (1) has a handle cavity defined by walls (3), and a functional element carrier (4) inserted through an opening (5) of the cavity, where the carrier has an operating element (6) e.g. switch or key. One of the walls has a recess (7) opened towards an edge of the opening, where an operating section (19) of the element is provided in the recess during insertion of the carrier into the cavity. The recess is arranged in a base of a groove (8) associated to a visible side of the handle. A visible surface of the section (19) is provided with chromium. A LED is provided in the element.
