The clamping device has a pressing device (7) e.g. set screw (8), which exerts the force on the clamping lever in such a manner that an end of the clamping lever is pressed against the articles to be mounted. The pressing device supplies the force to the clamping lever, where a position of the force transmission is dependent on a thickness of the articles.
