PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing unevenness of a formed image caused by uneven rotation of an image holding body, and an image forming system and an image forming program. SOLUTION: A magnetic head 20 forms a plurality of images for adjustment in prescribed shape used to control rotational speed of a magnetic drum 18 at prescribed time intervals on the magnetic drum 18 in such a state that the magnetic drum 18 is rotated at prescribed rotational speed, while it reads the plurality of images for adjustment formed on the magnetic drum 18 from the magnetic drum 18 when the magnetic drum 18 is rotated at the prescribed rotational speed, and a CPU updates the images for adjustment so that a dense and sparse state thereof may be reverse to a dense and sparse state of the forming intervals of the images for adjustment read by the magnetic head 20.
