PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image identification device, an image identification method, and an imaging device for suppressing increase in cost and deterioration in speed of identification processing as the number of detectors increases. SOLUTION: The image identification device comprises detectors setting a plurality of coordinate groups of feature points in image data to be identified and setting at least one feature amount for each coordinate group; a detector group composed of a plurality of detectors identifying the same items of the image data to be identified; and an image identification means for setting a plurality of detector groups set on the basis of the number of the items of the image data to be identified, for setting at least one reference detector group among the plurality of detector groups in image identification, and for executing identification processing to detector groups other than the set reference detection group by using the coordinate groups of the feature points of the set reference detection group.
