PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjusting screw that has a loosening prevention function and is firmly screwed with a female screw even if screwing is repeated many times, and a pressure switch using the same. SOLUTION: The adjusting screw 1 has the following configuration. At least a screw part is made of a resin. The adjusting screw has a plurality of protrusions 16a, 16b, and 16c-16x-16n being part of a peripheral direction of the screw part and locally making the depths of screw valley parts 15 shallow over a prescribed distance in the longitudinal direction. Each of the plurality of protrusions 16a, 16b, and 16c-16x-16n forms each screw loosening prevention part 16. Therefore, the adjusting screw has a loosening prevention function and is firmly screwed with a female screw even if screwing is repeated many times.
