PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generator, an air conditioner, and a method of manufacturing the ion generator, with a structure for efficiently pouring mold resin for insulation while preventing generation of air bubbles in a manufacturing process of the ion generator. SOLUTION: The ion generator containing a face 2c with an ion generating element 1 of a high-voltage generating circuit board 2 connected, and a resin mold 5 covering a rear face 1b of the ion generating element 1, includes a structure that the surface 1a of the ion generating element 1 and the high-voltage generating circuit board 2 are slant with a predetermined inclination angleθto a surface 5a of the resin mold 5. When the mold resin 5 for insulation is poured, air is pushed out from an upper part during a process permeating the resin, thus air bubbles are hardly generated, therefore, the mold resin for insulation is efficiently poured.
