PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and compact imaging lens that employs a three-lens constitution lens system and has a high resolution performance, and to provide an imaging module. SOLUTION: The imaging lens includes the lens system constituted by arranging a first lens L1 having positive power, a second lens L2 having negative power and a third lens L3 in this order from an object side to an imaging side. The imaging lens satisfies the condition of expression (1), wherein f: a focal length [mm] in d-line of the lens system,ν<SB>1</SB>andν<SB>2</SB>: an Abbe's number in d-line of the first and second lenses, respectively, L: an entire length [mm] of the lens system, L': a reduced entire length [mm] of the lens system, d<SB>1</SB>': a reduced distance [mm] between the first and second lenses.
